I love the author’s use of a Ghostbuster’s scene to open the argument and drive the point.

I completely agree with the author – narratives and stories – are way more effective than rational arguments in getting people to move in a direction. It is tried and true. System 1 versus system 2.

Often, we tend to overthink things.

You want simplicity? Think Pedro running for president.

“If you vote for me, all of your wildest dreams will come true.”

All you have to do is fill in the rest.
